Join us for our new Big Read Book Club! Each month, we'll read one of the 12 novels & memoirs the National Endowment for the Arts features as its annual "Big Read" selections. For our April selection, we will be reading the 2014 bestselling graphic novel Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant by Roz Chast. In her first memoir, Chast brings her signature wit to the topic of aging parents. Spanning the last several years of their lives and told through four-color cartoons, family photos, and documents, and a narrative as rife with laughs as it is with tears, Chast's memoir is both comfort and comic relief for anyone experiencing the life-altering loss of elderly parents.

We will meet at 10 am to discuss the book; patrons have the option of attending virtually or in person. Coffee and refreshments will be served! Copies of the monthly selection will be available at the library's Circulation Desk. Please sign up below to participate in this month's discussion!
