Storytime for toddlers who are moving and grooving! This storytime is best for kids who are either 2 and up or are walking independently.

Music, movement, rhymes, and of course, stories!

Do you want to make connections with other parents and caregivers in your community? Go somewhere where your babies, toddlers, and preschoolers can make new friends? 

Join our new Ukulele Club on Mondays from 11 am - 12 pm or on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Scranton Memorial Library! Whether you are a seasoned strummer or just starting out, you are welcome to participate.

UConn Master Gardeners will hold horticultural sessions to answer questions on all topics related to gardening on Mondays from 12:00-2:00 pm. ALL SPECIMENS MUST BE IN SEALED CONTAINERS to prevent spread of pathogens, etc.

Join our Guitar Club on Mondays from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at the Scranton Memorial Library! Whether you are a seasoned strummer or just starting out, you are welcome to participate.

Bring your imagination and design your foosball teams and fields. We will use paint, cardboard boxes, dowels, and clothespins to create our very own foosball tables! For kids ages 7-12. 

Have you taken a trip in the past few years that was just wonderful and you want to share it with others? Are you looking to take a trip and want some tips and info from someone who has recently gone?

Rock out with your toddler in this 30 minute music and movement class for children ages 1-3.

Stop by the Teen Room Tuesdays after school to decompress from the day with some arts & crafts!  Different craft supplies will be available (like our button maker), as will our video games.

Come to the library to create your own windchimes to hang outside! Choose your design, decorate, then hang your chimes. For kids ages 4-10 (younger kids may need a grown-ups help to hang the chimes). 

Stop by our Creative Loft on Tuesday evenings for some DIY fun with your fellow adult crafters! Librarian Natalie Fleischer will be on hand to help you with the project of your choice.

Chair yoga allows you to perform yoga poses while seated or using a chair for balance. Chair-based yoga offers the same benefits as traditional yoga, like boosting strength, flexibility, and mental well-being.
