Still not ready for in-person programs? We still have virtual storytime at the library. Join us on Facebook live on Mondays this summer for a virtual storytime for all ages. 

No registration required. 

We'll provide the materials, you take it home and make the craft! We'll have a new craft every week starting on Tuesday, July 6th. Our Summer Reading Take Home Tuesday is by registration only. Registration is required to receive a craft. 

Read, rhyme, sing, and move with us on Monday mornings this summer! This storytime is great for littles of all ages. Adults and children ages 2 and up are required to wear a mask.

Rock out with your toddler in this 30 minute music and movement class for children ages 1-3. This program will be held on our outside patio. Children ages 2 and up, as well as adults are required to wear a mask.

Outdoor Explorer's is back! This summer, join us on the patio on Fridays at 10 a.m. for outdoor play. We'll provide an "Explorer Kit" for each child, including sand, trucks, playdough, and craft supplies!

Want a sneak peek of books coming to a shelf near you? Join Ms. Lydia and Ms. Myla while they talk about their favorite brand new books, available at the Scranton Library!

A presentation on what Henna art is, followed by the actual application of Henna! This program is open to individuals from 12-18 years old!

Need some device help? Drop by the library between 2-4 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays this Summer for a tutorial from a tech-savvy teen volunteer! No registration required.

Beginner’s yoga for kids in grades 2 & 3! Learn new yoga poses, or practice if you already are a yogi. Bring your own mat/towel. Masks are required. 

Join us for Novels & Nibbles, a virtual book club where instead of reading the same book, we come together via Zoom to discuss our current favorites and give each other recommendations.

Come to the teen room and hang out! We have video games, card games, and anime all for your enjoyment! Everyone between the ages of 12 and 18 is welcome, but masks are required.

Participants investigate how animals adapt to their environments through form and function in this fast-paced class filled with hands-on, inquiry-based activities!

Registration required. For kids in grades K-5. 
 

The Tokyo Games this year marks the 125^th anniversary of the modern Olympics. Show off your knowledge by competing in our very own games for an Olympian-worthy prize!

Bring your favorite stuffed friend to this evening storytime. We'll sing, read and get ready for bed! This is an outdoor storytime.

Meditation is a wonderful technique used to reduce stress and anxiety. Mindfulness Meditation will help you manage negative emotions while finding your inner peace, all while located in a beautiful outdoor setting at Madison's Bauer Park.
