Poetry Chalk Walk

Join our first ever Poetry Fest-Chalk Art event to celebrate National Poetry Month with the art of poetry.

Madison Poet Laureate Ed Lent will host an interactive event where children will learn and create poems and then artistically draw them on the front paths outside the Scranton library, creating a beautiful Poetry Walk where poetry and art will merge for all to enjoy.  Children can use prompts or their own poems as well as add artistic creativity with chalk at this to engaging and creative event. For ages 5 and up. Registration required.
