Event Details

Introduce yourself to the wonderful native plants on and near the Library grounds and in your gardens. Meet with certified UConn Master Gardener Samantha Pullaro to also learn how to identify invasive plants such as Burning Bush, Norway Maple, Common Reed Grass, Japanese Knotweed, Oriental Bittersweet, Tree of Heaven and others.  

Bring samples of plants you would like identified. Also, if you have a plant that appears "ill" and you would like a diagnosis, place it in a clear bag to bring with you.
