Join Madison Lyric Stage as they preview their June 2023 production of Tony Kushner's classic play “Angels in America”! This groundbreaking play, set during the AIDS crisis in 1980s America, explores the challenges of two patients as they face the social, sexual, and religious implications of the deadly illness. You will experience scenes from this moving drama and learn about its history on the American stage. Marc Deaton, MLS’s artistic director, will host the show and lead a Q&A afterwards.
