This month's take-and-make craft kit will be a set of four felted acorns in warm Autumn colors with real acorn tops. You will be provided with all the materials and full instructions to experiment with sculpting felt by hand with water or to try needle felting (these acorns can be made using either method). These will look lovely displayed in a bowl or you can string them up and hang them (in a window or as ornaments). For individuals with allergies, please be aware that this craft entails handling wool and alpaca fibers.
All registrants will receive an email the first week of the month notifying you when your bag will be ready. You may pick up your free grab-and-go bagged kit inside the library at the first floor info desk any time during the month and create it at home, or bring it to the Creative Loft to craft any Tues. 5:30-7:30 pm during our informal drop-in DIY night, when craft librarian Natalie will be on hand to assist if needed (however, please note this is not a formal class). Instructions and supplies are included.
