Yoga Nidra—also known as yogic sleep—is a guided meditation practice that is intended to bring deep physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.
Anyone can do it! No yoga experience necessary. Bring items to make yourself comfortable lying on a carpeted floor for 45 minutes. [blanket, small pillow, pad]. Can’t lie on the floor? Try it seated.
Librarian Claudia Volano is a certified Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra facilitator. She will host a Yoga Nidra session on the fourth Tuesday of each month to give patrons the opportunity to try this wonderful wellness practice. Please sign up for this month's session below! Please note that this will be the last session of Yoga Nidra. We will be switching over to chair yoga starting in April.
