Event Details

The Ubuntu Storytellers, an incredibly talented ensemble of experienced black, brown and biracial performers who tell stories of “being” as well as of “being in the skin we’re in," are back with two virtual story concerts! If you missed the Tellers' wonderful Spring Storytelling Series in May & June, you will have the chance to experience their live performances virtually for a two-week period. The concerts include "To Be Young, Gifted, and Black," in which you will hear true stories of the journey of Black and brown people in America, and "Ase: Our Ancestors, Our Selves," in which the Tellers engage you in a slice of their lives, warm your hearts, and expand your imaginations. The viewing period will run from Thursday, Sept. 1st to Wednesday, Sept. 14th; those who register will receive the video links via email on Sept. 1st at 10 am. All are welcome to sign up! Please register for this fantastic virtual experience below.
