Nature's Gentle Giants: Elephants at Home & Abroad

On Oct. 24th, 2022, a miracle happened: healthy elephant twins were born at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY - the first documented pair in the Western world! Elephant researcher Matthew Rudolph will talk about his work with the twins' family as well as his time spent studying wild elephants in Africa and Thailand. This interactive presentation will include footage and artifacts and an exploration of the habitats & behavior of these incredible creatures.
