My Adventures with Jacques Cousteau

In 1973, at the age of eighteen and just out of high school, Mr. Hyman drove from L.A. to the Canadian wilderness to work with Cree Native Americans building a cabin for the Cousteau team to winter in and film beavers. Months later he flew to Mexico's Yucatán and boarded the Calypso, a relatively small and unsteady wooden ship, and from there sailed south along the 180-mile Belize Barrier Reef, filming exotic marine wildlife and a visit from singer-songwriter John Denver. On his final voyage, en route to Venezuela, he experienced treacherous dives and skeletons inside wrecks off of Martinique. A born storyteller, Mr. Hyman will have you on the edge of your seat.
