Local historian Henry Griggs will present an illustrated talk, Madison in the Golden Age of Postcards, on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2 pm!

As a burgeoning resort town, Madison provided a natural subject and fertile customer base for the postcard craze. Henry will offer commentary on highlights of his personal collection, with a special focus on the beautifully hand-colored cars of the Golden Age, supplemented by historically compelling images from 1898 though the present day.
