Discovering Your Italian Roots: A Genealogy Workshop (In-Person)

Have you always wanted to learn more about your Italian ancestors but didn't know how to begin? Starting with passenger lists to identify the places of birth for Italian immigrants, we will explore the online resources that document Italian births, marriages, and deaths, as well as civil records that can date back to the early 1800s.

The program will be presented by Mark D’Ambrosi, a genealogist who specializes in researching Italian American families and their origins in Italy. Patrons have the option of attending this workshop in person or virtually. In-person attendees are asked to follow current CDC guidelines regarding masks. Italian refreshments will be served at the in-person program!
