Winter Birds of Connecticut

Even when it's cold outside, Connecticut is a wonderful place to look for birds! In this unique adult program, you will learn about the unique adaptations our year-round resident birds have for surviving the cold, and find out more about the birds that migrate here every winter, including ducks, loons, juncos, owls and more. Audience members will have a chance to meet a live rescue bird who spends the winters with the Denison Nature Center. Additionally, handlers will teach tips and techniques for birding and identification for all seasons. Please sign up for this singular event below!
