Do you have a budding artist on your hands? Join us for this art filled storytime. Sing, dance, and then let your little ones unleash their creativity! This storytime celebrates artist Degas, who was famous for sculpting and painting ballerinas.

Celebrate summer with a party at Scranton! Enjoy snacks, music, and entertainment; including yard games, a petting zoo, Off Road Mobile Games video game truck and much more. Fun for all ages and everyone is welcome.

Calling all crafters! Have you ever wanted to learn how to make macrame? Now is your chance to create a macrame leaf keychain!  For ages 7 and up. Registration required.

Make every day a party! Come to the library and make your own Pinata out of cereal boxes. We will create our fantastic pinatas using colorful tissue paper, tape, and twine. Ages 5 and up. Registration required.

Drop in to the library to make a cute, 3D paper ladybug to take home. While supplies last!

Come in your pajamas to read Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney and decorate your own pretend pajamas using paper, buttons, pom poms and more! For ages 2 and up. Registration required.

 

In this class, we will be learning about alpacas and angora goats. By comparing alpaca and angora fiber, we will get to see how fiber differs and the reasons they differ.

This storytime will have songs, a story, and some signs! We will learn some American Sign Language together that you and your children can use everyday. For ages birth-5.

Participants investigate the remarkable life of Leonardo Da Vinci and his scientific and engineering discoveries through fast-paced, hands-on activities. Ages 6-11. Registration required.
